Still Sunny!

I can't believe it! It is still sunny outside! I really hope that it stays like this. I get to go on more walks, which are always fun and I can go into the backyard and run around without getting all muddy and getting yelled at by the family when I get it all over the house. I know that I have told you how much I like looking up at things, but I have to say it and show it again. It is fun to look up through swing that is tied to the tree because it just looks cool. But that might just be because I am easily amused, that is alright with me though.

My friend!

This is Dory. She is my best friend. We keep each other company during the day and even though she is older than me, she is still young enough to play rough with me. I love to play tug-o-war with her. I have known her ever since I became a part of this family. Although she didn't seem too thrilled that I was staying for a long time, she eventually got over it. She always cleans me and when I was little, she taught me the right way to do things so that I wouldn't get in trouble. I love her and I'm glad that she is here!

Sleep!

I know that being a dog, I am supposed to sleep all time, I mean that is just what is expected of me. However, I find it very difficult to sleep when the rest of the house is awake and working really late. I could feel in the stress in the house last night because everybody was running around like crazy trying to get everything done, so I could not sleep because I felt bad. All I need now is my bed, which is looking really comfortable, so maybe I'll just take a small nap and rest my eyes before dinner.

The Mail Slot

So many things come in and out of the house, but what I find really weird is that things come through the slot in the door. Every day a man puts mail through the slot in the door. I do not like this because I never know if it is the same guy or if it is a stranger who could be a danger to us. Don't ask me about the scratches on the door...I have no idea how those got there....But anyways, I smell something good, so maybe I can get some food!

On the inside looking out

This is what I spend most of my day looking at when somebody is home with me, and of course if it is not raining. It is lots of fun to watch everything pass by outside from people to cars. A lot of the people are little kids because there is a school really close to here. Sometimes I just like to look at the screen door because it is so distracting and fun to look at.

Sunday Breakfast

It is not very often that you smell hot food in the morning in my house. However this morning, the house was filled with the smell of food, and not just food, but people food! I love these days because I usually end up getting some food from the table, as long as I do not try to sneak it. When I am good and do not beg too much, they give me some! This morning I got a lot of the food and it was sweet and just good! I do not know what it is called, but I don't really care because it is people food!

TOYS!!!!

Oh boy, do I love my toys! Of course I have to share them, but I do not really mind. I hate that I have to keep them all in the basket because I would much rather have them spread out all through the house where they are all easy to get to. But every time I work really hard at spreading them all out equally, somebody has to move them all back to the basket. It is just so frustrating because then I have to spread them all out again, it is just a never ending cycle.
